Another neighborhood restaurant I put off visiting because I was worried I wouldn’t like it. I ride my bike by here on my way to work every day. When my friends Zoe, Sara and Matt visited from Boston and stayed with their friend Dr. Love, and he recommended we eat an afternoon Sunday brunch here, I brought my worry with me.
Breakfast Club put the worry back to bed. We sat outside on the patio, a party of five. They enjoyed six dollar mimosas, screwdrivers and electric lemonades, while I, the driver, got four refills on my coffee and an American breakfast with bacon.
The potatoes were cooked through but firm, with salt, pepper and scallions; the eggs over easy cooked perfectly; the bacon crisp; the service was good. Loved it, going back.
