Xoco turned 6 years today! We are going to have a cake tomorrow before the weekly Xoco meeting. I hope it’s an ice cream cake. In the restaurant business, where there’s endless waves of changes, many places fall down or fade away. Xoco is the kind of restaurant where the standards for service in the dining room are as high as in the chef’s standards in the kitchen. It’s a special place that we take pride in. Xoco will be this good for 6 more years.
On the AcmeCTF forum, my friend from Mexico asked about my obsession with highscores. I replied, “Quake 2 is a competitive game that we play because it’s fun. Talking smack in mean way is not fun for me. High scores are a fun way to stake a claim in the competition without putting anybody down.
