Before leaving for CT, I had a really great Middle Eastern dinner. Raven and I ordered takeaway from Zaytune based on the recommendation of one Casey Cora, the media director for Frontera and former writer for DNA Info.
The recommendation was totally on point: Zaytune uses only fresh meat so Raven’s lamb had a great natural flavor enhanced by generous seasoning.
As a vegetarian, I thought the hummus and falafel sandwich were both executed to the highest standard. The falafel wrap was made even tastier by the presence of fresh herbs. Even the banter at the counter was on point! Definitely heading back.
