We were staffed lean which made for high standards of teamplay and cooperative service, out of sheer necessity. Yet we never felt stretched too thin, because this group has taken on the shine of true professionalism. Everyone did their job, mindful of helping one another.
True Champions: With our greeter out due to illness, Dave, Brandon and I enacted Chicago’s fabled “triangle offense” and by having each other’s back and rotating to send help to the side (either the floor, the door, or the kitchen) that needed it, were able to successfully offer generous hospitality all night. Phil Jackson the Zen Master himself would probably be OK with me naming these 2 our True Champions.
