We were beyond fortunate to receive a private tour of the winery by the owner Fernando and co-winemaker and sommelier Jonathan. The cave is built into the land making one interpretation of the name quite literal.
La Lomita was one of the very first wine makers and while they remain grounded in that tradition now the family’s work also includes cutting edge production, and the two personalities of La Lomita make each even better.
