End of the Squirrel

Some wacko batshit lady in Florida (where else?) rescued Sugar Bush Squirrel from a fell tree, then domesticated the animal and sewed it over ten thousand unique items of clothing. The most popular picture of Sugar Bush (the world’s most photographed squirrel) is the squirrel dressed up as Osama Bin Laden. Which signals for me, the end of the squirrel as we know it. (This is why Florida should never again be allowed to decide a presidential election…)

It’s the end of the squirrel as we know it. (It’s time I had some time alone)
It’s the end of the squirrel as we know it. (It’s time I had some time alone)
It’s the end of the squirrel as we know it (It’s time I had some time alone) and I feel fine.

No Yellow Whale at the Git-R-Done Invitational

Watched a couple hours of bull riding on TV Saturday after work. The bull riding channel was showing the Git-R-Done Invitational, followed by a program about Bodacious, once a famously bucky bull. Here is the first paragraph from wikipedia:

Bodacious the Bull (1988?–May 16, 2000), originally owned by Phil Sumner and branded J31, was a crossbred Charbray bull who was infamous throughout the sport of rodeo, and was commonly referred to as “The World’s Most Dangerous Bull.” The 1800-lb (800 kg) bull, known for his characteristic coloring as the “Yellow Whale,” made unanticipated moves that rodeo athletes were not accustomed to and were defenseless to protect against. Only ten rides (six different cowboys) were completed on this bull in 135 attempts. Clint Branger, Bubba Dunn, Tuff Hedeman and Terry Don West rode him twice. Jim Sharp and Legs Stevenson have also made successful rides on Bodacious. Bodacious was voted the PBR Bull of the Year in 1995.

Larry Legend could have rode Bodacious the Bull

Even though it will cost me $200. if they win the Finals, I still hope the Celtics git-r-done against the fabulous Lakers.

Facing Future

I thought I understood dark energy in the shower. The spiral arms of galaxies are like fan blades and as they rotate the particles of space and time are pushed, the force being like wind from a fan, and the fan being powered by gravity’s effect on mass. Not sure that it makes sense but I plan on asking Dr. Charles Worthington the next time I shampoo.

Hope everyone enjoys their Sundays, the day of rest. Hawaii’s most popular entertainer until his untimely death in 1997, Israel Kamakawiwo’ole, stands on a cliff by the sea. That is me looking at the ocean but the ocean is actually brunch… I play that drum, sometimes, but not when there’s a splendid rainbow to gaze at.

I am the big captain and the ocean is my brunch
