No this is not going to be the biggest nerd-fest post of all time, regardless of that title. Its the time of year when there’s a bit of a chill in the air. Some people take out their air conditioners. I have to take out the Galaxy window fan that dominates half of my year. It was free, found in the closet I used to live in on Tremont St. Since I only really deal with it twice a year, I thought I’d honor my Galaxy fan by putting it up on the web. Not for sale!
Look into the spiral arms of the Galaxy!
Hit the warp-drive button!
Me posing, with a 2 liter of soda, and a burning cigarette. Just too damn cold. No I’m not thinking about crapping in my room.

man, it’s great to see the galaxy in all it’s glory featured on the webbernets.
‘member at tremont st how it used to provide central ac by sucking the oh-so-frosty air from that 200 pound behemoth stuck into our living room wall up into the upper regions?
and the countless times the galaxy had gotten the proper rotational direction of its mighty blades wrong (or right?), causing headiness to propagate throughout the house?
funny too man that c and i had spotted a couple of newer galaxy models during a rare and highly anticipated trip to walmart recently.
we saw the first one when we first pulled into the parking lot. a man was loading up his car with a honest-to-goodness boxed galaxy fan. it was a large one, perhaps close to the size of yours but not quite.
the second spotting was when we were walking into the store, this man was sitting on a bench with a blank stare and a galaxy (brand still unconfirmed, but more than likely a galaxy) battery-powered fan blowing up at him. funny that it was actually pretty chilly out that day. but lord knows i can relate to the need to remedy uncontrollable body warmth and sweatiness in public places, especially at walmart.
Whoops, there ges the ‘self-written’ post about your ‘self-written’ greatness.
Hey! The man, for reasons basically unknown, was addled by painkillers and in desparate need of a bed. He spit one out, slept it off, and rolled it back. Who hasn’t?
