I have been listening to Doug Sahm, Marcia Mello, the Violent Femmes, Austin Leonard Jones & Pals, the Tornados, the Texas Tornados, Newt Gingrich (that voice!), the Barbarians, Los de Abajo, Mickey Newbury, Wild Flag, and Terry Gross. It snowed and Etta and I walked to get German food. We ate a giant pretzel with cheese, a chopped salad with bacon dressing, goulash, chicken schnitzel, beef roulade, spaetzel, etc.
My cat ate non-cat food for the first time. It was Greek yogurt.
Doug Sahm? Mickey Newbury? Ricky? Texas Tornados? Someone needs to move here…
Here’s the thing. You work in a restaurant. So sure, you have to eat the food there, including animal products, to be open and knowledgeable about the stuff you’re selling. But in your free time, why are you eating animal products? You know that you are hurting animals, your health and the planet. The 3rdarm’s 29th year could be a vegan year – why not?

When I run out of cat food, I feed Mrs. Petunes greek yogurt. She loves it!
