It’s real tough when people get out of prison, man. And a lot of times when you get out of prison you can’t find no job. You get discouraged, like, “It’s hard out here, man. Should I go back to doing the shit I used to do?”
When he got out he tried really hard until he found his job. Even when they laid him off he was very active. I’d be like, “Why are you going out there? You’re not getting paid.” He’s like, “Because. Eventually they’ll get some funding. I have to go though. This is what I’m supposed to be doing.” And he stuck with it and he’s back.
