Valley Fish and Cheese was a perfect stop for human fuel before we headed over to Pike’s Peak. Thank God for Wisconsin’s food culture. They have what people crave for energy.
Smoked fish (we got walleye), cheese (we got horseradish cheese), snapping turtle sausage, homemade beef jerky, and crackers. We ate outside at a picnic table, and then I got my picture taken with the gigantic muskie.
There’s a lot there. The bounty of America.
