I worked 6 days straight, and had to close all three restaurants half of those nights, which means staying until at least 2AM, sometimes 3AM or later. It was a rough stretch.
A chef from the pie shop in our neighborhood dropped off cherry pie pops and rhubarb at Xoco for the staff and me. Small things like that and Toast the famous spaniel made it bearable!
