I got to photograph a good friend’s wedding at the Kimpton Grey hotel, just across the street from Chagall’s Four Seasons. It was something like my fourth time overall but first actual paying gig, and it was very important to me to do a quality job both for the sake of my buddy as well as the furtherment of my photographic ambitions. The bottom line is that I’m writing this review for anyone taking photos in this part of the Loop: consider using Chagall’s Four Seasons as a backdrop.
The beautiful 70 foot long mosaic expresses the people, places and vibes of our multicultural city through the summer, winter, fall and spring. The individual tiles are the granular nature of Chicago, the fascinating human stories,more than the sum of parts, underpinning this urban landscape turned art.
