"Judith Blasko, age 14, of East Hartford High School, responded to the question, 'As a member of the Future Teachers Club, in what way does teaching appeal to you?' Young Ms. Blasko replied, 'I want to be a teacher because I have always enjoyed working with children and I enjoy helping them to learn things. I think the reward from teaching, to a teacher, is in helping children form new ideas.'"
