There is a debate in New York over the wild animal law. African wildcats, Savannahs, whose behavior can be as mystical as dogs’, are unlawful… Only three names are allowed in the article: Darjeerling (who appears on a leash around town) & Bunnicula (bunny-sucker/vampire) & Kara LoDolce (wildcat-legalization-advocate). Outrageous! Let’s pacify these wild animals like we did the Indians! say the outraged. But as a wildcat who wants to live in the five burroughs someday, I’m not so sure…
