My yelp friend Aurore L.’s suggestion to go here was solid. It was a tough but needed rejoinder to more LA eating. I got some Midwest lung pain from the elevation gain. The hike up is no joke but the payoff is immediate- vistas of downtown LA to the ocean.
I appreciate the topography as a person born of old mountains and living in the flat center. The paths diverge around a canyon. You go up towards the white observatory on both sides. There are telescopes there, and a pendulum.
