Al Andar features a beautiful patio with some prime people watching. They also carry an impressive regional menu of agave based spirits, and a knowledgeable staff who present these with skill.
The interior is comfortable, reclaimed wood, and offers a dim and tranquil place to relax with mezcal. This is especially important after a long eating tour, even if you don’t drink, to sit for a while in case you get gout.
I enjoyed the Gabriel Vargas mural across the street: “Sueño De Una Tarde De Domingo En El Callejon Del Cuajo.”
