ULC Logbook, Thursday, February 10th, 2022:
When I printed the cover spread for Chef at 430PM, we had 38 covers. Through the addition of same-day reservations, and with 13 guests who joined by walking in, we finished with 54 covers.
Justin and Jill had their rehearsal dinner in the Ballroom.
We had four orders for takeout: a pre-order for 5PM with approx. 4 entrees; an order for 5:15PM for the BA H. family; an order for BA Berri N., who will be away visiting his family in Lebanon for the next 2 weeks; and a 7:30PM dinner order (with two desserts, bravo) for BA Mr. B.
For BA’s tonight, we were joined by walk-in regulars the BA B.’s, at the bar; BA Kholoud E., with daughters (party of 4, tbl. 23), who walked in; Noah R., college-age gentleman who dines often at ULC (party of 8, tbl. 30); Anastasia S., relatives of brunch regular BA Charalampos P. (party of 4 with 2 young children, tbl. 19).
The all gentlemen business party of David M. commented that their entire experience from the initial round of drinks at the bar with A. and T., to their dinner served by R. and squad, was fantastic (FYI: the M. party almost reached a $300 per person check average: bravo to R., G. who assisted with selling wine, and the entire team!)
All Friday and Saturday reservations have been called: big thank you to G. for the big help. All of the Valentine’s Day / Monday reservations will hopefully be completed by EOD tomorrow.
Another blue sky day, high of 50F in the sunshine. The forecast calls for similar conditions to start the weekend: colder weather arrives on Sunday.
