Merotoro offered some memorably plates and stellar service. In particular, I was struck by the salad of beets, and how they balanced the earthiness with the acidic zip of citrus.
The jowls and lentils with poached egg dish packed a punch of flavor and richness that was deeply satisfying. Merotoro’s approach to flavor combinations is different and exciting.
