Instead of grubhub, this week Etta bought food at the grocery store. She made many delicious dishes and my favorite was her salad similar to the dish served in many Mexican homes on Christmas Eve.
It was a “Noche Buena” style salad of arugula, beets, blue cheese, and a apple cider-honey vinaigrette.
For dessert Etta made sweet crepes filled with ricotta cheese, blackberries and strawberries.
