ULC Logbook, Sunday Brunch, October 24th, 2021:
On Chef’s birthday weekend Sunday brunch, we started with approx. 61 covers, welcomed a good number of walk-in parties, and finished with 86 covers (happy b-day Chef G!)
For BA’s, we were joined by: Carol B. S. (party of 3, tbl. 15); Beth M. (party of 2, tbl. 80); Tim B. (party of 3, tbl. 1); and Bob and Denise C. (party of 4, tbl. 31).
Arthur: 555-555-5555; Mme. I. wants to know if we will be open on December 26th for brunch. Call her back when we have an answer.
All guests gave the impression of being pleased with brunch today: the Robert G. reservation (party of 4, tbl. 3, taken care of by A.) commented they’d had, “such a great time,” and that, “Desserts were awesome!”
One highlight of service arrived early: The first guest through the doors, at 10:59AM, bought a $200. GC, which seemed like a sign that it was going to be a good brunch.
Blue skies and sunny, with a high in the low sixties made for ideal late October conditions for outdoor brunching: the heaters were used for most of the service.
