ULC Logbook, Easter Sunday Brunch, April 17th, 2022:
We started with 206 covers. We were joined by the following walk-in guests who enjoyed the full prix-fixe menu at the bar: solo guest around noon, party of 2 at approx. 1PM, party of 2 at approx. 2PM. Several other guests joined us at the bar for coffee and desserts / drinks / less than the full menu. One party of 2 no-showed. In the end, 210 guests joined us for Easter Sunday brunch.
For BA’s, we were joined by: Ulrich W. (party of 9, tbl. 31+); Joan D. (party of 6, tbl. 5); wife of the late David S., Meghan M. (party of 3, tbl. 23); Kevin L. (party of 3, tbl. 11); Jason H. (party of 7, tbl. 19+); Marie R. (party of 3, tbl. 26); Michele C. (party of 2, tbl. 6); Liz and Duo D. (party of 7, tbl. 17); Judith Y. (party of 2, tbl. 18); Elizabeth F. (party of 7, tbl. 3); Maryellen J. (party of 4, tbl. 11); Michael C. (party of 6, tbl. 12); John H. (party of 2, tbl. 4).
We received much positive feedback throughout. Here are a few of the examples I was able to jot down: Michelle C.’s dining partner (party of 2, tbl. 6, served by P.) said his, “omelette was perfect.” Dr. J. G. (party of 2, tbl. 4, served by S.) commented that he and his companion had enjoyed, “an amazing experience.” Stephen P. (party of 5, tbl. 13, served by S.) said, “Everything was delicious and the service was fantastic.”
A. called out 30 minutes before her shift started at 12 noon.
Monday’s forecasted to be mostly cloudy, high of 52F. For Tuesday: AM clouds, PM sun, high of 53F. There will be a warm-up as the week progresses (mostly sunny, high of 55F Wed.) peaking with Friday’s forecasted high of 66F!
