Cole’s Farm Melon Salad — August 1 – 6, 2022

ULC Logbook, Saturday, August 6th, 2022:

We started with 97 covers (81 inside, 16 outside). Nine parties cancelled, for a total loss of 27 covers. We were joined by the following walk-in parties: 3 at 5:10PM (desserts only; Clubroom); 3 at 5:35PM; 2 at 5:45PM; solo at 5:50PM; 3 at 6PM (bar; drinks only); 2 at 6:05PM (drinks and apps only); 3 at 6:40PM; 2 at 7:05PM; 2 at 8:40PM (patio); 2 at 8:45PM; 3 at 9PM. We finished with 115 guests (99 inside, 16 outside — the total does not include the Ballroom party.)

We had two orders for takeout, both placed on the web.

For BA’s, we were joined by: S.’s friends, Dom P. (party of 3, tbl. 26); Donald E. (party of 2, tbl. 64); The L.’s (party of 2, tbl. 13); Bauer S. (party of 2, tbl. 4); Catherine P. (party of 5, tbl. 5); Erica and Mark W. (party of 4, tbl. 17); The T.’s (party of 2, tbl. 6); Andrea D., double birthday (party of 5, tbl. 3); Gordon L. and Susan K. (party of 2, tbl. 1); Olivia B. (party of 2, tbl. 78) who got engaged at ULC in 2020, celebrated their anniversary.

In the Ballroom, we were joined by approx. 23 guests for the engagement celebration of James H.

A fantastic ULC regular, Jennifer B. (party of 4, tbl. 16, served by R.) commented: “The melon salad was to die for!”

Local cucumber, Bishop’s Orchard peach, local tomato, Burrata cheese, Proscuitto di Parma, vincotto dressing.

Gordon L. (party of 2, table 1, served by D.) and his wife, Susan K., have enjoyed many vegetarian Chef’s tasting menus at ULC, commented: “Everything was on point tonight. You guys are crushing it!” Bravo to D., Chefs, FOH and BOH teams!

Per CF: For online orders placed with Square, it would be great to have contact information for each order that is placed. Having the guest’s phone number would enable us to reach out directly in the case of an issue. We will keep you posted!
