







ULC Logbook, Wednesday, October 19th, 2022:
We started with 74 covers. Two parties cancelled, for a total loss of 8 covers. In addition to a same-day reservation for a party of 7, we were joined by the following walk-in parties: 2 at 5:15PM; 1 at 6:15PM (gentleman from Alabama, in town for one night, dinner at the bar, was complimentary of T.’s hospitality); 1 at 6:30PM (wine only, in the Clubroom); 4 at 6:40PM (David J.’s party); 2 at 7:30PM; 2 at 8:50PM (dinner at the bar). We finished with 92 guests.
For BA’s, we were joined by: Josephine B. (party of 2, tbl. 17); Daryl G. (solo, tbl. 14); Russell C. (party of 6, tbl. 5); The A.’s (party of 2, tbl. 2); Alyssa G., first timers, celebrating an anniversary (party of 2, tbl. 26); the greatest of all-time, David J. (party of 4, tbl. 10); Elin B. (party of 4, tbl. 35); John W., dining with G. C. (party of 3, tbl. 22); Sebastien T. (party of 9, tbl. 30); Raganatha S. (party of 7, tbl. 17); Jakeb F., perhaps the fastest runner alive, dining with his girlfriend, his brother who is an alpha dog to Siberian huskies, his bro’s girlfriend, and his parents (party of 6, tbl. 16); Joe C. (party of 2, tbl. 37); Bibi Tan, the wife of a Turkish-American cook who worked with us today, on the ULC pastry team (party of 2, tbl. 19).
Daryl G., who has greatly enjoyed everything Chef G. has ever prepared for him, please respectfully requests that Chef consider adding venison, bison and / or buffalo to the menu at some point.
The F.’s, former regulars who retired to Florida, send regards and best wishes to J.-M., R. and J. P.
Robert A. (party of 2, tbl. 2, served by R. I.) have been dining here since the days of Sherman’s Taverne. After dinner, Mrs. A. asked to speak with R., and commented: “We have been coming here for 40 years. Tonight’s team worked together so beautifully. Please don’t ever go anywhere!” Bravo to R. I., RT, CF, Chef G., Chef J., Chef T., T. and the entire team!
