Pilgrim Exiles / Old Stone House / Hand-Carved Sculptures of Hippopotami β€” December 6 – 8, 2022

The first painted / stained glass window of the Union League depicts the Whitfield House, of Guilford, which dates from 1639, also known as the, "Old Stone House." The second painted / stained glass window appears to feature a seated woman from an original composition by George H. Boughton, titled, "Pilgrim Exiles," (rather than the phantom ship of New Haven, which was an earlier guess) as she gazes pensively out to sea.
