ULC Logbook, Thursday, February 17th, 2022:
When I arrived at 3PM, we had 44 covers. For walk-in guests, we were joined by a party of 2 on the first turn, a party of 4 on the second turn, and 6 dinner guests at the bar. With an additional same-day reservation, we finished with 58 covers.
There were no takeout orders.
For BA’s, we were joined by: Maria L. (party of 2, tbl. 36); a fun walk-in party of 2 history / French food enthusiasts who asked that we call them by their pseudonyms, Mr. Fish and Ms. Bunny (tbl. 20 for dinner, tbl. 37 for drinks); Father Stephen H. and Dr. Loraine S. (party of 2, tbl. 14); our neighbors Jessie S. (party of 2, tbl. 19); Benedict C. (solo at the bar).
N. received compliments for his service from the Won J. H. party (3 guests, tbl. 15) who joined us to celebrate a birthday and greatly enjoyed the Chef’s tasting menu — including the H.’s young daughter, to whom I bestowed kudos for having a much more sophisticated palate than I had at that age (approx. 6 years old.) Bravo N.!
