ULC Logbook, Wednesday, August 10th, 2022:
At 2PM, Arthur (that’s me!) volunteered to stay home, due to the restaurant having 14 covers reserved, little upward movement, and a forecast for rain. As soon as the host was cut, conditions dramatically improved; the patio was opened for the night. One party of 2 cancelled. We were joined by the following walk-in parties: 2 at 5:45PM (patio); 1 at 6:40PM (patio). We finished with 34 guests.
For BA’s, we were joined by: Alexander C. (party of 4, tbl. 77); Kevin L., celebrating his wife Kerry’s 55th birthday (party of 2, tbl. 62); Daryl G. (solo, tbl. 14); Tamara O. (solo, tbl. 2); owner of Tualman Construction Co. in Orange, CT, J. R. (party of 2, tbl. 3); Maite V. (party of 5, tbl. 5); L. D. and M., bailbonds-persons (party of 2, tbl. 1).
Bravo to C. F. for selling a $500. gift card — unfortunately for me, it was, “the one that got away.”
I have reached out to my friend Ray, who is also a friend of the buyer of the Gift Card that was, “Returned to Sender.” I have received an updated address for Bill Meo. His gift card will be re-mailed out again on Thursday.
